The Free Weekend is open to all gamers in Germany during the event. To participate, simply visit steamgames.com and install the free client. I think they did that with Day of Defeat in america on valentines day. I know I played it for free at one point in time.

They do this with a lot of their games every once in awhile. Great chance to try a game before you buy it.

i don't really understand why there are ppl who still don't have the orange box.
i mean, there's absolutely _nothing_ you can do wrong about buying it. portal alone is worth the money, team fortress 2 absolutely rocks if you are into multiplayer fps', and episode 2 isn't bad either. so just go ahead and buy the stuff...

I don't see how it would.. It sais people in Germany.. And there are German people all around the world of course.. Hm

They should just let any1 try it, why restrict it to Germany? It could bump sales of the Orange Box... I might of bought if I had a change to sample it.
