Cooler Master has unveiled a new revision of the Cosmos case known as the Cosmos S. The new S version has multiple changes including a touch sensitive power button which, the company says, is switched using the capacitance when your finger presses on it for a couple of seconds. Much like the original Cooler Master Stacker, the front of the case can be used for 5.25" drives. In addition, Cooler Master has listened to user feedback and you can now install a 120.3 radiator in the top without having to butcher your system with a Dremel. Cable management has also been improved further as well.

Trying to sound serious here but that thing prolly cost more than my pc. Its prolly about £250-£150.

Well i think that if you can afford a cse of that price then you should just spend less nad buy something else like a few new games or a new stick of ram ect.

I still don't see a way to cool your HD's. Although it looks like they got rid of those HD cages.

If it's anything like the Stacker, the hard drives go in a removable cage, with a fan already attached.

woah i thought i would get abuse for my comments about it being way expensive lol

fuck are you trying to cool the north and south poles?

hey global warming isnt going to melt your cpu!

if i was going to spend a lot id get a full water cooling setup, im not sure but i think you can also water cool your north and south bridge?

look nice but there are cheaper cases that will do me just fine as long as it holds my stuff together fine.

lol just thought that you could run your system in one of those wind tunnels that simulate high winds and hurricanes storm type winds
or you could get a wireless keyboard that would get a signal from pluto which is all ice!

This is supposed to be out in March supposedly for about $260 USD. I think I'm gonna get one. I like how it also pays homage to my beloved CM Stacker 830 Evo.

the original cosmos was 199.99 USD MSRP. Ive seen them for about 150.00 USD and cheaper with a MIR. The Cosmos case is one of the best ones CM has come out with. I love my Antec Nine Hundred, but Id jump to a Cosmos in a heart beat. I like this S version but I hope they kept the same all tooless design and the HD cage.

I got my cosmos for about 115 and that was at the start of December. Now that I have it, I wouldn't change it out for anything! a vantec tornado doesn't even sound the same when its up full speed.

Why do you need to cool them?

Run those babys hot!!!Google did a test, and found hot hard drives last longer than cold ones.

your right. thats because of the fact that they have the liquid something.. I was to tired to listen fully... but because of the fact that with cold temps it freezes it.. going back and forth from hot to cold isn't good on anything.. And Google found it out for you.

Yeah it has a 200mm fan on the side and is still tool less. It's also made of aluminum instead of steel. So its shed like some poundage also.I love my 830 evo but this is just what I'm looking to upgrade to for my yearly income tax refund splurge.;)

now if i can get the look of the front, the fan's on the top, and how it looks now in my case, I'd love it! I really don't care about the weight! I've carried the thing almost half a block full, and over my head and it doesn't brother me.. but thats just me... I, like you Dom, will be happy in keeping the Original!

This is slowly turning into a Cooler master owner's thread :p

I love my CM Stacker (T01) case... The rough aluminium, black mesh, blue LED combo makes it look so industrial it doesn’t seem to go out of fashion even after all this time.

The Cosmos S case has a few things that make me think it won’t last so much in time as it's predecessors. For one thing that cheesy plastic upper side where the USB’s are located seems awfully glossy and easy to scratch/deteriorate. Not a bad case nonetheless.

Id' love to see this in full metal configuration though. Kind of reminds me of a tactical nuke somehow:)

In any case can't wait to see the final retail version and see someone around here due a proper review on dat sucka.I like how they are using aluminum instead of steel now. That should also help keep components cooler, moreso than steel. It's not just lighter now but should be cooler also.I think i see this case a 780i Ftw and a Q9450 on the not to distant temporal horizon.

Its beautiful and lot less weight.Too an additional 200mm.And cost is 60 USD more.TBH I wont pay that much more for a case which would make it equal to the most parts of my rig.But then again, the beauty it adds is kinda priceless.
