I've had plenty of games (which I legally own) I've used NO-CD cracks on that failed to work for online play afterwards... NO-CD cracks suck, but do does the lack of them...

No it's not. It's legal to create a backup of a game you own. But by cracking it, you are circumventing the copy protection inbuilt and THAT is the illegal part.

depends on the country, and using a no-cd is kinda neccesary parto f the backup imo.. if my disk gets damaged i cant play the game with a backup without using a nocd anyway.

i have 2x500gb hd and i have them almost completely filled it was pretty cheap to get them off the egg for about $90, i do a LOT of gaming, i have about 60ish gigs of music but right now its mostly games
i recomend getting 1 or 2 500's there cheap and you got a lot of room to stuff it full of stuff

although if you care more about speed and still have a decent amount of space you could always get 2 160gb raptors, that will give you enough space for all you games and music, movies are a differenct story, but if you can afford it thats an option
