People people, fix your spelling, please.
The solder doesn't get hot enough to melt.
What happens is over time the solder breaks loose, and this is known as 'cold solder.'
Anyway, wrapping the 360 in a towel will cause it to heat up, and when metal heats, it expands. The expanding solder will make contact again, thus repairing it. Then when it cools down, the connection is broken again.
Lastly, please use a spell-checker, you sound like an 11-year-old. Also, do not say that you spell like crap because you are lazy, that's just stupid.
HMMMMN... first i do not spell like an 11 year old because some are crappy spellers some are good
I am bad at grammar but lets get straight this is a forum on the internet why bother correcting grammar mistakes if it still can understood? If it was something formal then yes i would take care. End of discussion.
Next i want to address the fact some people think i do not understand that the thermal paste heats up and becomes loose making contact again but is only temporary.
Next i want to say that the only way to solve the problem is to improve the cooling by lapping and better application of thermal paste plus better paste, better fans and general better cooling altogether. Now if you try to do that it will void the warrenty so just send it back and let them fix it.
