2 Player Games - 1 PC???

Hey guys,

Any one know of any 2 player games that can be played on one pc?
Also, would be nice if they have downloadable demos that I can try out first.

I just bought 2 XBOX360 controllers for my PC and want a game that I can play with someone on my 24" screen

madden foot ball games. not sure if newest does but i think i remember playing 2004 or 5 against my friend in 2 player on my laptop.

i used to like Worms but when it went PC it went cartoonish

.. Anyways Shadowgrounds ( maybe 2 as well ) i be leave is and GTA 1 if i remember right... not sure at all about GTA 1 though i'll check Shadowgrounds and see.

O yeah Tiger Wood PGA Tour 05\06\07\08 has it too. Yep it's possible with Shadowgrounds but you need joypads to make it work right.

There are plenty of driving simulations and sports games out there for PC. Many are multiplayer on a single PC. Also, if you count all the console emulators and games that come with them, (NES/SNES/N64/SMS/SEGA/PS1/PS2, etc) we are talking about tens of thousands of titles.

I remember playing the old-school Need for Speed series (such as NfS 3: Hot Pursuit) with my best friend many many years ago on the same PC.

This was exactly waht I was going to say. I never checked if you could play the newer NFS games with another person on the same PC.
