Ive been playing Rock band with the guitar lately for PS2 and noticed the songs on Expert are much easier then the songs in GH on hard. ive played all 3 GH's and it seems that the hard on them are actually hard.

does anyone else feel teh same way?

Rock Band is easier, about as hard as the Hard mode on Guitar Hero 3. Hitting the roll offs and hammer ons are much harder in Rock Band. Your timing has to be almost perfect, which is realistic (for a "guitar game"), but it sometimes in a pain on hard solos.

Rock band is much easier, with the exception of hammer ons. Guitar Hero gives you a delay on hammer ons while Rock Band does no such thing.

In terms of easiest expert to hardest expert I'd rank them like this:
GH1 <<<<<< Rock Band < GH80s < GH2 <<<<<< GH3.

I don't think you could jump from GH2 hard to rock band Expert. GH3 hard to Rockband Expert you could for sure.

IMO I prefer Rock Band's tracks (dicounting the DLC). Much more fun to play, and much more rounded for the instruments. GH3 track list in RB wouldn't be that great as the singer and drummer wouldn't be having fun in most cases.
