hey guys, i am not sure if this is appropriate, but im not having any luck @ ebay:p

i am selling my gf6800nu 256mb 256bit ddr pci-e card for $110/incl 5$ shipping. the card comes equipped with a zalman vf700cu cooler and mem heatsinks. plus splintercell pandora tomorrow for free(original cd's)

the card is in a perfect working condition, stock clocks are at 325/600mhz, but it oc'es to 350/700mhz with ease and doesnt break 55C under max load.

nfsmw: 37fps w/4xAA

splinter cell chaos theory @1280*1024: 40fps w/hdr enabled

stock heatsink will also be shipped.

have you tried ebay? in my opinion, thats a great bargain I don't have the money for. Considering the price of the usual 6800 and the performance listed, I think you might be able to get $150 out of it...if only I was interested :p

eh whats wrong with this guy asking about selling his 6800? I admit, ebay would be a better place, but still. there are probably lots of people interested in his 6800, he's trying to get the best deal he can.

there's absolutly nothing wrong with it, but you gotta admit that this ain't the place to be doing it...
talking about cards, deals, value, modding, etc' etc', heck yeah, this is definantly the place for it.

but it shouldn't be a swap-meet. there are other places for that type of thing, and this just ain't one of 'em.

now, maybe if TPU had a buyer/seller sub-forum... then that would be something else...

yeah, you're right. I just had to think about it...the fine parts of dealing that video card would get ugly. Addresses and credit card numbers on a public forum...:roll:. I say this guy should see what he can do on ebay :p

yeah, i got around ~200$ in various gifts from relatives, i could buy a 7600gt, but what would i do with another gfx card..so i am going to use this card's money and get a 7900gt
