see these 2 motherboards ( same mobos but 2 revisions) ,

According to them, the revision 2 (R2.0) supports core 2 duo CPUs but the revision 1 does not , looking at the specs i cant see any differences (same chipsets and stuff ) . What makes one support it and the other not to?
