Sli issues

Here are my system specs

Amd Fx-62 @ 3.18 ghz
Dfi lanparty Ut 590 sli mr2
4 gb ddr2 800 ocz reaper @900mhz 4 4 4 15
2 xfx 8800 gtx xxx @ 640/1600/1000
gigabyte odin gt 800w psu
vista x64

ok so here is my issue i have been trying to get sli to work right on my system i can not get it to work in vista at all when i enable vista my fps drop drastically and my 3dmark scores go way down. I got sli to work in xp once but i put the rest of my case back together and sure enough didnt work on the next boot. and since i havent seen the performace i saw the one time i got it to work can some one give me some advice. Everything says sli is enabled i check my mobo and there is nothing in the bios to turn sli on or off the only way i know how is through the nvidia control panel and i do have my sli bridge on and its on all the way

What driversa re you on? Make sure they're the latest, and if the latest dont work try a beta.

Have you got SP1 installed for Visa? If not, the problem is easily solved, have a read here then download SP1 from the link. if you already have SP1 installed let me know as I have one more idea!

yes sp1 is instaled. the weird thing is i scored 62000+ in 03 then i put my tv turner card in and thats when it stoped workin right i had to take the bridge off to put the turner card in but idk i dont think it matter which way the bridge is or which set of sli connectors i use

try re connecting your sli bridge, make sure everything seated correctly, and have you tried clearing CMOS? could be a screw up when you removed the sli bridge, its just a stab in the dark but it could be :ohwell:

Also, do you have the latest edition of NTune installed (April 2008), I found with my two 8800GT's that for some reason I was having big problems with SLi in both recognition and performance terms, I updated NTune, set the SLI parameters within that and never had a problem since, albeit I got rid of the GT's and bought GTS's afterwards.
