It's that shorter version that's been floating about for some time now. They're roughly the same length as an HD3870. They've pushed the PLX chip down and pushed the cores closer together. Such a shame it's so expensive and is so late, the 4800s are out soon, otherwise this would have been a great card to have.

I wouldn't say nobody. I remember trying to find a nice card to go in my Antec Solo case but settled on the 3870's due to the 3870 X2 was just to damn long! It would be a nice card for those true mid tower cases but your right, waste of money with the 4800's coming out soon.

MSI uses a single GPU cooler that looks similar to the reference 7900 GTX cooler on their 8800 GT/9600 GT, etc.

I wouldn't say nobody either, that card has a dedicated hdmi output on it. anyone into bluray and media center pc's will definetly be checking it out.

Anyone into bluray or media center pc's wouldn't waste their money on overkill like this when cards with dedicated hdmi ports cost a forth of this thing. Now if they were into media center pc's that game great too, that's a different story, but the thing still needs to be about $100 cheaper. It costs as much as a 4870x2 :confused:
