Low default core/mem x700

hey there wanted to know if this was normal....i have the powercolor x700 256 card and the default on it 399/266...i wanted to know if this was normal for this card to have such a kiw core/mem...it has gddr2 or whatever it is so i dont know if that makes a difference...any helpl would be great thanks

so is it because i only have gddr2 then that it has a low core/mem? and is there anything i can do to make it better other then using ati tool and volt modding?

You could try using ATI Tools to up your memory speeds. I wouldn't recommend it though. I'm sure PowerColor had their reasons for not clocking it higher. Bear in mind, since you're upping the speeds, you are "overclocking" and that voids the warranty.

This is the core speed of my Sapphire X700 Pro.

i can use ati tool and OC from the 400/266 to 480/450 but i dont really kow anything about changing timiings
