I have a problem in GRAW,

As you see in the two picures everything is black, except for the sky and the vegetation.
Is this a known problem?, do you know how to fix it?

My computer specs:

3 GHZ, Hyperthreading, Dual Cores
1024 DDR
Gigabyte X800XL Silentpipe AGP
150 GB

I have noticed lack of performance lately, most in games, it really takes a long time to load games and my computer is also really slow. Do you think I have to re-install Windows? I have XP, if you wanted to know that!

I have two question left to ask; I'm getting 2GB ram soon, how much will it effect FEAR and Oblivion in performance?

And how do you put on AA in GRAW?

ram will effect FEAR, because it is ram hungry. Try setting your settings to low to see what happens. Also, what processor? A pentium D?

as for you computer seeming to be a little slow, i cannot explain, it can be any number of things.

the graw issue appears to be DirectX problems, make sure you have the latest version of directx installed and that you have catalyst 6.3

this is all i can suggest.

or you could get a xbox 360 like me and play it in its full glory with all the pretty effects, without spending lots of money on pc upgrades.

well it saves time on all these compatablity issues. he in the UK its cheap to buy a 360 than crossfire or SLI, so it makes alot of sense, especially with games like GRAW and Oblivion. we get all that power in one little white xbox which costs less than a X1900XT or a 7900GT

back on to the issue in hand. In CCC drop all the graphics settings to performance and with in the game, drop them to the lowest settings. bring them up one at a time. in another forum so other kid had the same problem with the textures. so start from the bottom and work up.

Yeah I have the same issues....sucks that the PC version is technically worse than its 360 counterpart....
