So i was at work today it sucked geek sqad is alright but nobody does their job so at 5 when i clocked out i went over to home theater and on an impulse buy bought my new monitor ;P

say hi to my new samsung 50" plasma with walmount and all pics when done

thing my GTX will struggle with crysis on it

you have to let it break in their will be no gaming on it for like a month the brite colors will ruin it..the trick is at first to watch fast pace movies were nothing is really slow then work your way on to slower movies and brighter games etc

The latest ones arnt that bad though wile e my one it is noticable but fades after a few seconds.

I know I know they're not as bad, but they are still prone to it. I personally would never put anything on them that had a static image for long periods of time, like some games, or even the Windows task bar. I'd stick to TV and movies on it. I've seen first hand what can happen to them.

Hell of a nice TV tho.

What resolution is that? 1388x720 or 1920x1080? Whichever it is, your GTX will not struggle. Unless you dial up hundreds of AA

Actually technology advanced once again. Newer Plasma's screens have whats called pixel shift so there is no burn in affect unlike the older ones. Game away :toast:
