Two monitors on one card

Hey I have a spare monitor I would like to hook up to the VGA port on my graphics card ( as my main monitor is DVI) is this possible?

As when I tried I couldn't get the other monitor to work, also it showed up in Catalyst control as a CRT monitor when its a LCD D:

Halp!

Thanks guys.

EDIT: Eh never mind, turns out the back light has died since the last time I used the spare monitor

All you need is a little converter that changes it from VGA to DVI, one should have came with your Card if not you can pick them up for cheap. Other than that it should just be plug and play.

As we have seen with 2 for 1 things before they work/fit.
