These are great storage drives. They actually have very nice transfer rates for a 5400RPM drive, and run super cool and super quiet. The whole "WD Clunk" thing hasn't affected me whatsoever, but then again, I use it for storage, and it's rarely accessed unless I'm installing or reformatting.
