Odd stuttering issue... HALP

So just recently i have noticed a "stuttering" issue. I will be on my fav website"TPU" or doing anything, And my computer will "freeze" for a whole...... 3 seconds, Then catch back up really fast to what i was doing. for instance, I will be typing and all i see is | then i wait a second and the partial sentence "I will be typing and al" will just pop up. It is quite fucking annoying. My hdd is fine i just ran some benchmarks on it. So.... WTF M8? anyone halp me? :toast: Ty in advance.

you have latest vid drivers?

EastCoasthandle Nov 2, 2009 02:54 AM

Sounds like something working in the background. I suggest you grab Process Explorer to see what is going on.

shevanel Nov 2, 2009 03:05 AM

Hit your mobo website and get the drivers... it might help to eliminate it or begin the process of elimination.

Munki Nov 2, 2009 03:05 AM

kgreene Nov 2, 2009 03:06 AM

If that does not fix then your hdd could be on its way out.

extrasalty Nov 2, 2009 06:43 PM

What Windoze are you on? Have you tried changing the power-saving settings? Have you turned off system restore?

francis511 Nov 3, 2009 10:25 AM

Process Explorer

It's a Microsoft freebie and a very powerful alternative to the Task Manager. It will likely confuse the shit out of you, but it's worth it for the depth of info it gives you. :D

If anything is hogging your system, this baby will reveal it.
