Love their PSUs but I can honestly say Ive never got their ram. I need to rectify that one of these days,

Product quality is what corsair really seem to care about. Really reliable products that have good performance.

Price sometimes is a bit high but i have to say that its worth it because of the quality.

I like my HX850. :) Grats to Corsair, its deserved.

Tough, never had their memory too, I think they can´t beat price/performace of my CSX value 6GB kit.. (running at 1600MHz CL8 :D - or 2000 CL9 .. or 2100 CL9 .. or whatever I can do with my i7 :D almost everything..).

And yet I still won't be buying a corsair PSU :D

I think that their PSU's are absolutely top of the line and are only a little overpriced. Although good, their memory is very overpriced, espectially their 6GB DDR3 1600MHz kits, they want at least $200 for a set while you can get many G.Skill and OCZ sets with the exact same specs for almost half of what Corsair wants.

Corsair PSUs rock! I only had some value RAM from them, but they worked well, and actually overclocked quite nicely lol.

My 750TX PSU impressed me so much, Rock stable, and i will keep it for a long while. I also have a Corsair H50 which impresses me alot to and has good mounting system and detailed logo's and even black screws haahaha, Such great temps like 60c loads on a q9550 at 4.3Ghz 1.36volts. Corsairs memory coolers impressed me to, nice finish and good airflow for RAM over clocking. When it comes to packaging they do that almost better then xfx. The next step for XFX is to make the UPS guy were tuxedo suit and make him carry your new graphics card on a silver platter to your door and instead of knocking he rings his serving bell and talks french LOL.

On a side note ive never bought Corsair RAM because ussualy the OCZ Platinum gets me with there low prices and look. I do want to grab 4gb of Corsair Dominator for my system, but the prices on DDR2 RAM are just ridiculous.

Even though it was obviously, it's well deserved to be honest.

I've only ever had one Corsair fail & that was bought off eBay, the rest which I have purchased 'properly' are amazing!

Love their PSU, but had bad luck with there ram... still there RMA is just fantastic.

I think their pricing is right in line, they have PSs for almost everyone(modular/non modular...TX/HX). I am looking for a new back up PS for my bench and comparing the other brands prices to Corsair is making me think Corsair is an excellent deal.
Even their 1000 watt one is a good deal to me.

I beat the crap out of and modded quite a bit their 750HX and it still works like a champ.

To me the TRICK is gonna be to keep it up.....(once ur at the top falling is easier to do)

I notice a lot of other higher end PS companies making junk now...(hint hint Seasonic, OCZ)

They do make a awesome PSU!

I like Corsair too. I don't even mind that they cost a bit more because they sell the kind of product that you stick in your rig, and almost never have to worry about it again.

yea, the PSU is THE most important component in your rig. i am willing to pay a little extra for the piece of mind and performance the top manufacturers bring.

I think the funniest thing about this, is that Corsair doesnt even manufacture most of the things they sell. They buy them from a manufacturer and put their name on them and re-sell them.

The PSU's are made by Seasonic and other PSU manufacturers, and the memory chips come from Elphida and other manufacturers and Corsair throws on their badge.

So the title should say best memory and PSU re-brander/re-seller not manufacturer

They do at least use quality stuff from quality manufacturers though.

Their PSUs are definitely good, but their RAM is identical to other brands except the price is jacked.
Why pay more when Gskill provides the same for less? You can check the chips if you please.

I've got a Corsair power supply, and I love it. Can't say anything about their other products because I never tried them, but Corsair certainly has me as a client of their PSU's in future endeavors :toast:

Definitely agree with this one, I have less problems with GSkill than Corsair in most of the systems I work on, especially with 1366, if you put the sticks in the wrong order they don't all work, at least GSkill label theirs with sequential serial numbers so it easier to get it right first time, with Corsair sorting out a system with 12GB showing only 8GB because the RAM is out of order is a pain (720 combinations, compounded by no identifying marks). With GSkill you just look at the serial numbers and you have four options.

As for re-branding you just need to compare forum threads & reviews of the H50 with Asetec LCLC 120 to see how well the badge impacts a product's consumer acceptance and review ratings despite being the same underneath and carrying a higher price tag.

They are the best at picking stuff to slap their name on then. :laugh:
