woo this has made my day. After the massive dissapointment of supcom 2 and hearing the next settlers will have ubisoft's stupid always-online drm seeing the civ series getting a tune-up has cheered me up on the strategy gaming front :)

Great looking screenshots. I'm keeping my eye on this one. As if I don't get too little sleep already, Civ games turn minutes into hours. "Aw, just one more turn before bed."

Yeah, this game is starting to look pretty good.

I didn't like Civ IV, but I'll give this a go when it's released. I hope the DLC stays away.

i liked 4, but i def liked it less than 3. I hope they go back towards 3 - but either way i believe I will enjoy it ;)
