which one to get

2DividedbyZero Mar 14, 2011 04:58 PM

the cheapest

Personally, I would get the MSI one as long as there aren't any significant price differences b/t the two.

both are $250, im leaning for the asus card because it has the other components cooled not just the core.
but reviews say its has more noise.

plus i remember a post by a mod on msi forums say that mem heatsinks are useless !?

I don't know about them being useless. Will they make a diff in performance? Not likely. My friend got the msi twin frozr and is absolutely in love. From what I hear the cooler is extremely quiet and efficient. I bought an xfx 6970 but would've gotten a twin frozr had they made it in my card

i'll get the msi. more ppl have it should be a good sign ::

thank you!

i currently have the Frozr 2 OC, its very quiet and cool, however the ram is not cooled at all. this does not seem to be an issue, however i will be getting some thermal tape to shave a few degrees off.

just some info.

Not sure about dcII but I know from first hand that the DCI is good. Never saw above 65c on a heavily overclocked GTX 460.
