Sims 3 on macbook pro or macbook air?

I personally don't know anything about Macs, so I'm asking here. Sorry if in not in the correct part of the forums.
My sister wants to buy either a macbook pro or a macbook air to run Sims 3 on it (among other things, but Sims 3 is probably the most intensive application she will use with it).

I'm wondering if the base entry level models would run the Sims 3 decently?

MacBook Pro has Intel HD Graphics 3000, which I assume given Intel's style is integrated no?
The air has a NVIDIA GeForce 320M which I have no idea on the performance of it.

As long as the screen resolution isn't outrageous I'm pretty sure both will handle it fine. The Nvidia 320m will for sure, the onboard may be laggy but playable.

should be fine! My hp mini 311 with a 9400m can run it fine, im sure the Air will be fine with anything

seems they're about the same in terms of Sims3

320m

HD3000

if she gets the standard MacBook instead of one of the others she'll get the same gpu performance and a higher clocked cpu. Oh and a larger hard drive and 7hr battery life for the same price as the air
