With all the hardships and tragedies in the world these press releases always bring a smile 2 my face. Pure comic brilliance

"Xtreem" ...Jesus I almost wouldn't buy it just because of that.

Also did anyone notice that it just comes with a 2 year warranty as opposed to the industry standard 3 years?

Ozpa Aug 5, 2011 10:19 PM

Oh and the color is awful haha.

LOL lost in translation GO TURBINE SPEED MODE!!!!!!
It sounds like some cheesy power rangers or transformers shout LOL.

At the rate that kids are grown up on mobile phones this should be normal nerd shouts by now. :nutkick:

Must mean something important or impressive in Japanese if correctly translated.
It all fits in with the cheesy color.

Either way nice to see some decent performing ssd's, I wonder does this ssd glow in the dark or under a black light ?

Who is this team group company?

Did some other manufacture get bought out/ change their name to this?

twilyth Aug 6, 2011 06:39 AM

Comedy gold. I wonder if the companies who put stuff like this out ever find out how ridiculous their target audience thinks it sounds. But then again, I can't remember the last time I read marketing spooge before deciding to buy something.

Wile E Aug 6, 2011 07:46 AM

I want to punch the people that put these releases out, without pricing info, right in the balls or ovaries, whichever may apply.

From the way this press release reads, I think it's a translation from a different language. It certainly doesn't follow AP guidelines.

With marketing copy fail like that, I wonder about the quality of all management decisions and the quality of the technical engineers!? I think I will avoid Team products from now on. In other news, Team introduces all new updated extreem professional lucky turbine SSD in order to satisfy more cowbell.

not much of difference...

If you want very fast ssds you go with a Pci E variant. They however cost way more n are limited on space. TO TELL TRUTH ID HAVE A LARGE SSD TO PUT OS ON N THE PATCHES N SOFTWARE SUCH AS WEBBROWSERS IM PROGRAMS N FLASH/SHOCKWAVE/JAVA/PDF/ANTIVIRUS/ANTIHACK. NOT SURE BOUT SWAPSPACE/PAGING FILE anymore...

Team makes good stuffs

I think many asian based companies got this kind of problems.
But Team does make good products, they just don't have good technical writers/translators.
