Needs USB 3.0. Otherwise pretty nice actually. You can't connect printers to it I assume? That would've been nice too.

Is this effectively a NAS connected to a drive via USB? It seems to imply that it has it's own wireless connection, but this image seems to imply a wireless router is doing the wireless work:

Yea, think so too. And I agree, seems like it should have more connectivity options, like eSata and USB 3.0. Printer support would be good too.

They should make one of these with multiple ports, where each device gets assigned it's own ID. Or better yet, a wireless router that has the same functionality.

I bet it wont stream big HD video files with any kind of watch-ability. Like blue ray rips with uber quality. I tried a vendor that allowed you to stream from your PC to any PC any where and it worked great until I tried to watch my Blue ray rips...I get the picture but not the sound and I assumed it was a bandwidth issue. All software based no hardware.

I'm not sure that USB 3.0 would make much of a difference. See this note in the Specifications...

"Typical transfer rate in wired Gigabit Ethernet network can be up to 35MB/s."

Yeah I realized that. I imagined the device connected directly to the PC for some reason. :laugh:
