Sharkoon Intros QuickPort Intern Multi 5.25 inch Front-Panel

Sharkoon is expanding their "QuickPort" product line. In addition to their popular external docking stations for unobstructed hard drives, the accessory specialist has maintained an assortment of removable, internal SATA hard drive frames known as the "QuickPort Internal" series.

With the Sharkoon SATA QuickPort Intern Multi, Sharkoon now presents a 2-in-1 model, in which two SATA hard drives can operate with a different form factor concurrently: The Sharkoon SATA QuickPort Intern Multi fits into a 5.25 inch bay and offers two separate trays for either a hard drive or SSD in 2.5 inch format, and 3.5 inch SATA hard drives.

Both bays possess their own single SATA host connection, therefore the inserted hard drives work independently from each other. Thanks to the fast-swap mechanism, the disk can be replaced easily during operation. Power can be controlled by using the On/Off switch on the faceplate.

As an additional feature, the mounting frame readily provides two USB3.0 front ports. The two interfaces are provided with a 19-pin connector cable for mainboards with an internal USB3.0 pin header.

The drive drawer is mounted into the case with decoupled rubber pads. Two SATA data cables for connection to the mainboard are included in shipping, also included is the required power supply for the SATA power adapter. The Sharkoon SATA QuickPort Intern Multi supports SATA standards I to III, and thus transfer rates up to 6 GB/s.

End customers will find the Sharkoon SATA QuickPort Intern Multi available for the suggested retail price of 34.99 euros in authorized retailers.

this one looks like can do hot-swap too

i don't quite understand how on-off works - it disables power for all inserted devices?

the only thing that concerns me - it will be hot inside

I like this but as usual, Sharkoon is hard to come across here.
