white box warrenty needed ?

I am looking to get a vertex 3 120gb and saw this

http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Compo...roductId=48409

Now it only has 30 days warrenty, but do these ssd's die easily or is it like most warrenties they are a hidden "cost" as most times they are never used ?

Any thoughts welcomed.

its second hand /used Only warranty is shop only.
Manufactures warranty for new would be min 2 years to original purchaser (UK and EU LAW)
if you bought it and it fucks up after the shop warranty expires then you would have to rely on the manufactures good will to repair/replace
