GPU-Z device list enumeration, device order?
 

Specifically, how are the the GPUs listed in the drop down sorted, or determined? Vendor and PCI ID? OS hardware device list? Other?

Sorry if this was answered somewhere already. Searching for "GPU LIST ORDER" and like terms were not helpful.

GPU-Z uses SetupDiEnumDeviceInfo and puts the cards in the dropdown in that order

do you have any suggestions for the order? and why

Thanks again. No suggestions, yet, as the GPU-Z ordering seems to work rather well! The Why is because I'm trying to put my head around OpenCL vs. CUDA device ordering when mixing them, and why they don't play as nice as they should.
