How to smooth the graphics in Urban Terror

I have a headache with graphics smoothness.
The strange part is that even tou is running at the maximum the game can perform: 125fps, when I move around doesn't look completely uniform or even... I don't know if you get it, is like the images get fuzzy and blurry and more so unsynched. I tried vsync but it makes me move in slow motion so I wont' use that.

I remember a driver on ubuntu 11 with my 9800xt in the corner of the very first room on quake3 near skeleton was very smooth and pleasant to watch and run around.

since I run the game at the maximum speed I'm demanding this. I dont know what 3d application settings to change any suggestions?

Are you having the issues on the 9800 or on the new card you recently acquired? With the latter, you should use the propietary driver and not the f/oss driver (Xorg Radeon). Turn off the Compiz effects as well if moving to the prop. driver does not work for you.

I use the 11.11C with the link below

yes is with the newer card, what are compiz effects?

Oh sorry, because I believe you once mentioned being Ubuntu user and your user name is Ubuntusario, my somewhat weirdly working mind put you through to its Linux department. Sorry for that. I did not realise you were talking about Windows now.

Best update the drivers to 12.8; Evergreen/Northern Islands/Southern Islands cards have been having minor issues with certain games when using certain Catalyst versions of the last few months. But 12.8 should do the trick I think.

drivers 12.4, 12.6, 12.8 should work. Course you always have 12.9 betas to use.

Sounds more like network issues then anything. (crapy network settups result in a weird feel with urt)
https://github.com/urtdevs/UrTDevs-Client/downloads
try \rate 25000 \cl_maxpackets 42
or use the binary I listed above in the link
drop it in your urban terror folder and run it (you might need a copy of the SDL/CURL/ZLibs if they are not on your system
<coder for mentioned project
edit heres a local copy of my libs/dlls in cause you have issues
http://cl.ly/JzYn extract to where ever your urban terror is
might be a good idea to clear your config

that doesn't have anything to do with the smoothie.

Actually it does kiddo. Unstable hardware has variable effects on how games are being rendered. If the machine is crashing alot the game isnt working right and since youre failing to take peoples advice in regard you will not receive help on this forum from ones who have given you advice already. Its your loss not ours.

Have a nice day youll need one before the storm comes.
