Wireless N Router for desktop & laptop
 

Hi ,

I am planning to buy TP-Link TL-WR740N 150 Mbps 4-Port 10/100 Wireless N Router .

Is it possible to use both LAN ports & WiFi using the above ? cause I am planning to use the LAN connection for my desktop and wireless for my Laptop & mobile phone . Please advice

Yes. All wireless routers (that are also a switch and have RJ45 LAN ports) will allow a WAN connection (the internet), wired LANs and wireless access .... all at the same time.

Yes, there are better/faster routers, but since he did not specify any particular requirements I assumed that he just wanted a basic router for internet access on both wired and wireless devices.
I use a basic TP-Link N-router at work for guest access to the internet (bypasses my network domain) and it works just peachy. :)

I use NETGEAR and it's been good for me ;-)

Bought one .Everything working fine :)
I just want to connect my desktop , laptop & my iPhone .
