Many Thanks to NHKS for the tip. It looks like it's launched in India first. Price is equivalent to $50.

So gaming cases=ugliest case one could possibly make. Looks pretty trashy and I've never been a fan of Antec, I even disliked the twelve Hundred, just seemed very poorly made when I built a machine with it.-

Looks like something designed for tweens... yuck, talk about missing the mark by a mile and a half
|
This case takes the branded ugly case competition's cup of diarrhea, No offense :)
|
WOW! Antec what's going on? I would expect this level of tackiness from Thermaltake but you? I always held you to a high standard when it came to case design. Your cases are the sorta the benchmark for clean, stylish, functional cases. You have totally missed the mark here, please don't continue with this design trend...

This would have looked ok in 1999.
|
At first I thought using 'slips' in the news title was a poor choice of words- then I saw the picture of the case and it all made sense.
|
This succeeds in making me feel like my HAF-X was a reserved case choice :shadedshu

"X1 chassis is perfect for"... those with no taste. "Now available in India" let hope they're the only ones impacted. While Antec still thinks we'd want P4 side panel fans? |
I do hate what "gaming" has come to mean where hardware's involved.

Touche! But it wouldn't look that out of place in 2010 when it was release? |
Dat front panel :banghead:
|
Dear god, looks like they tried to copy Aerocool's line of 'strike-x' series of cases. That is just sad to copy them.
Agreed with above, I've always looked at Antec and Silverstone for clean, functional, well-built and nicely priced cases. This is just an abomination fron Antec, I thought they learned their lesson from the dark-fleet series. |
......why antec.........why? (me & my 902 sob silently....)
|
Like all ANtec cases it's ugly

Nothing special about this case. It looks like something a no name company will release. Good Job Antec, now go back to the drawing board :D
|
Ok, who's passing the kool-aid? First Gigabyte, then Silverstone, now is Antec. So, what now? Will Fractal announce this tomorrow?
http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/4...ase201x300.jpg This is seriously freaking me out. As Ian Fleming said: "Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times, it's enemy action." *dons tinfoil hat* :fear: |

Well the pros are that the power button is where it should be, as are a few USB slots, it doesn't have a fat window (just an air filter thing), and it's cheap; but the cons are that the drive bays are ugly as sin and everything below the drive bays looks cheap, flimsy, and entirely unnecessary.
|
Looks like the kind of "gamer" cases I came across back in 2008 when shopping for my 900, the kind of cases that belong in The Fast & The Furious :D
