Video Card Upgrade from dual 6870's

Thinking about upgrading my video card with my christmas bonus.

Been looking at a gtx 580 classified pro edition

Or the 660ti

Max price range: 400$

Looking for 3gb, 300+ bit type card

I do overclock, and plan to convert to liquid cooling in January for the card

For $400 you can easily get a Nvidia Geforce GTX 670 or a AMD Radeon HD 7970 3GB

AMD Radeons HD 7970s
Computer Hardware, Video Cards & Video Devices, D...

Nvidia geforce GTX 670s

yup, there is still a single card at the $400 range, GTX 670/HD 7970 3GB, so go for it. always go for the single card. as long as you have the money

If you have the $400 right now, don't even consider doing dual GPUs

oops i misunderstood the OP., +1 to post above

PNY VCGGTX670XPB GeForce GTX 670 2GB 256-bit GDDR5...

280$ for a 670 thats a steal.

Yep. Also you cand get BL2 and ACIII. Even if the shoddy fan comes off (it's the short PCB Nvidia version) it still is a great deal. SLI GTX670 at $560!

my personal choice gtx 670, but if you are going water and OC hd 7970 sounds the winner.

i wouldnt even waste time on the 660 series, go witha 670, 680, or 7950, 7970

Why do you even look at gt 580 anymore?

3gb 384bit - 7970 it is then.
