hi guys,

i am wondering if there is no irc channel out there where you guys are idleing and chatting...

i do like the chitty chat on irc networks alot more than on forums!

are you guys somewhere avail. in the IRC networks?

TPU had one at times previous to now. Usually it was really busy for a couple of days then the attendance dropped off so the channels were closed.

That isn't to say there aren't members who still use IRC, just that they aren't hosted by TPU any longer;)

You will probably have more luck in one of those gaming chatrooms, the BF2 and Minecraft ones were reasonably non-empty

i also would join an unofficial TPU channel!

edit: gaming chatrooms do not have the right focus imo :P

I still use irc on a daily basis, it would be awesome if there was a tpu channel!

IRC is great for a lot of things.

Idling is cool and all but to keep the chat component of it alive, there would need to be people who are willing to talk about things (doesn't even need to be TPU related) on end.

yea. freenode is the server of my choice

there are so much hard/software related channel would be great to find tpu channels there too
