Laptops in bulk

I am looking to obtain several laptops preferably of the same model. P.M. me if your business is upgrading and needs to get rid of the old machines. I can and will securely erase all hdd.
I may also be interested in win 7 (must have COA attached) desktops if they are cheap.

I have a couple servers if you are interested in trades.

What timeframe are you looking to buy them in and how many?

Any interest in 10.1" Netbook?

DM3K Jan 4, 2013 11:18 PM

This will be an ongoing thing, the computer repair shop I work at is looking to get more laptops to refurb and sell locally. I am looking to get a minimum of 4 per purchase, but if I can get it I at the right price I may buy 100 units. I want multiples because it is a lot less work to clone one than to individually install OS on unique machines, however, if the price is very low I will buy individual machines.
It normally costs us $70-$100 all things considered to make the initial image (or to refurb a unique machine) and about $20 to test and clone each machine after that (assuming all hardware is good and we do not need to purchase windows licenses). So it is much more economical to get machines of the same model.

Well the Amish have used laptops pretty much since they have become widely available. Rules vary from bishop to bishop, many groups are strictly tech free and shun all forms of modern convenience, however some groups are less strict an often have rules that tech is allowed as long as it is at work only or not in the home. As an example an Amish man my grandfather hired to frame his house used a pneumatic nailer, but he could not use the same tool at home.

Thank you for the information because I don't think we even have Amish people around here. It makes me want to listen at "Amish paradise" :P

Might have some in a few months. 4-8gb with older gen Core i7s, 250gb hard drives. Dell Vostro 3700s I believe. Would be completely wiped.

Not really looking for new machines, unless they are as cheap as used ones.

I live with a cat but I have never actually seen it. I hear it every night; it is a very loud cat.

I love the clarification, it makes a lot of sense to be honest. ttt4u!

I know you live in the US, but just out of curiosity, would you be interested in buying a bunch of laptops if they have nordic keyboard layout (I know they can be changed)?
