i7 3770K CPU Cooler choice

So i got a i7 3770k and is still running on the stock cooler. I am searching to get a new air cooler preferably but still don't know what to get.

I was searching on the internet and found these:

CoolerMaster TPC 812
CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO
CoolerMaster Hyper 212 plus
Prolimatech Black Megahalems

I'm still undecided from these. I love the black megahalems since they match to the black color of my 800D, but don't know anything about the performance. What do you think?

Thanks.

Cm v8

Tpc 812. Look up performance reviews on the Megahalems. They are right up there as some of the best air coolers out there.

It's an excellent cooler, and I used it for years, but I think there's better value out there. The $50 for it is a fair amount to spend on something that doesn't readily accept adding a second fan. If you're going to spend more than say, $20-$30, I'd consider a closed-loop water cooler over a tower cooler. Both 212's offer massive performance/dollar figures, though. I've also heard really good things about the Megahalems.

Probably the Megahalems. I use CM Hyper 212 EVOs or TX3s on my machines, but I did buy a used V8 last year for my FX-8150. The V8 is rather long in the tooth though and never was that great to begin with.

This one:

CoolerMaster TPC 812

I continue to use one in my review testing rigs, and will for some time. Yes, it is that good, IMHO.

Read up on some reviews of it, not all are positive. I wonder what these guys are smoking. :p My CoolerMaster TPC812, on my SKT 1155 chips, does a better job than either of my Corsair H100's.

At first, I though it might just be the H100 being a bit daft, but when I got a new one, and the same was still true, the CoolerMaster TPC812 is better...I became an instant fanboy.

+1 the TPC812 is the best cooler I have had in a very long time

so after making some research and found some information and testing ( http://www.frostytech.com/articlevie...id=2654&page=4 ) I am between the megahalems or the tpc 812.
