Aion crashes friend's computer, probable cause: HD 6970@GB
 

Hello forums,

I just got back from my friend's computer issues. He plays AION and before every couple minutes of so after starting the game the drivers crash as well as recover. I recommended him to update to 13.1 (sounded like a good idea at the time) and now its the same thing but with the addition of a BSOD.

I have checked online and found people with a relevant issue but I just want to confirm it however, if possible, find a solution in the process.

Has anyone owned an HD 6970, played AION, and crashed their computer playing it?

What does the bsod say? Does it only happen with aion?

Edit: what are the system specifications? Motherboard, memory, powersupply and CPU. what version of windows is he running?

Yes, and as for the BSOD it presented drivers.
