We need more info. Are you overclocking? Is the system random crashing?

No and no, this is the first I've had since I installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 last November.

+1 for memory testing.

You could also try to use an application called Bluescreenview. It helped me identity the cause of a BSOD numerous times, since it can sometimes be a corrupted driver or system file. :)

Before you waste hours on memtest lets do some basic trouble shooting.

1. Did you check to see what the error was in the event viewer.
2. You can download a BSOD viewer here. www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html Take a screen shot of that and post it here on TPU.
3. Have you installed anything latley.
4. Is Windows updated.
5. Have you scanned for viruses latetly.
6. What were you doing when you got the error.
7. Have you validated window system integrity?
8. Is all your software legit?
9. Any new hardware. Even something simple like a new USB stick?

There are the kinda things you ask when you are troubleshooting people. Not "OMG RUN MEMTEST".
