G Skill Ripjaws Z, How good they are?
 

Hi, i'm moving to 16 GB and a friend said to me that this ripjaws will perform great with my Crosshair III + 965 BE

How good are those memories??

I tried to get the samsung magic memory but I was unable to do so.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. I'm looking for 1600 @ CL7

You can do cl8 at best @ 1600 or cl6 @1333

With those G.Skills? Nah, they'll do cas 7 at 1600Mhz. It isn't even a tight 7. Crank up the voltage if need be.

I didn't buy them yet, I'm going to wait one more week, after that I probably do it. That's why I'm asking around here.

I think the CPU will be limiting factor here, as the CPU was only designed for 1066/1333 to begin with.

You can always OC the CPU-NB. Anyway... if that doesn't work I can do 1333/CL6 or CL7.
