BIOS Flashing question
Hello everyone! A while back, I flashed my Nvidia GeForce GTX 465 to a GTX 470 because it met the required hardware specifications to do so. Lately I've been having problems with crashing, screen tearing, etc. so I want to flash it back to its original 465 BIOS. It's an EVGA GeForce 465 SuperClocked edition.
If I flash it with this BIOS, will it work using nvflash?: http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/7...24.100507.html, will it work and be reverted back? Here is a GPU Z SS. http://gpuz.techpowerup.com/13/02/08/c0f.png I used this tutorial to flash it:http://translate.google.com/translat...70&sl=ro&tl=en Thanks! |
If you enable the force flash trigger you can flash anything onto any card, even if it will brick it.
No idea about the BIOS sorry, I always keep a copy of the original one. Easier to just try dropping it 100-200Mhz and see if it still happens. |
Hi
The vga bios that's linked in the OP is not for superclocked version of EVGA GTX 465 [note; memory timings in the sc version may differ] compared; core, mem, & shader clocks source - http://www.evga.com/articles/00553/ atb (all the best) Law-II |

Does anyone else have a EVGA GeForce GTX 465 SC BIOS available? I tried looking around and can't seem to find one anywhere! Thanx! |

You should have backed up your original 465 bios using GPU-Z.

I added a couple of GTX 465 SC BIOSes to the Bios Database, take another look
