advice on intel cpu needed?!
 

i just popped into one of those electrical trade in places and they had an i5 for sale about £50 (probably get it for £40) but it was a 670 and 3ghz or something like that.

What socket mobo would be needed for it? or is it worth buying, i have everything to build a second rig apart from mobo/cpu. could even help crunch/fold if someone advised me how.

ive looked on ebay and prices are like £250-70?? i have no clue about intel lol

something like that yea! i have no knowledge on this, its literally something i walked past and thought about later. it was 3.3ghz or 3.2, 6** i swear it was 670 tho.

edit: the store closes in a hour so if people say go get it etc ill go tomorrow and hopefully itll be there.
