new agp graphics card help please
 

hello i'm looking for a new agp graphics card, i'm looking to pay around £120 tops. whats the best card for this price please?

x1300 XT/ x1600 pro/ x1800 etc... Google is your friend!

Have alook on ebay, you can get a bargain on there, I suggest keeping away from used cards though, sometimes you may get ripped off by buying a card that has its own mind and you will get nothing but hassle from the start!

Thats not a bad card, only 128-bit but I have the X1650pro and it aint as bad as people make out!

A 256-bit card will cost more but perform better!

I would defo recommend ati though over nvidia!

x800gto anyone...its a very good card and mine has 16 pipes right outta the box

yes the x850pro or xt line is nice....no sm3 tho..but what games really have the sm3? the x850line is fast and 256mb/256bit instead of 256mb/128bit like some of the other suggestions are....more speed is what you need and the x850 line will give it...id find a x850pro and mod it to the x850xt with the full 16pp.....and i see they go for around $125 us..best bang for your AGP buck is the x850pro....:rockout:
