in the market for a new mobo...any suggestions?
i currently have an Asus A8V Deluxe and Athlon 64 3000+ Winchester @ 2.4ghz and as a few of you read a few days ago i think it died http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=21759
still have no idea what happened and havent heard back from ASUS... but anyway i have had 2 Asus mobo's and loved them both (A8V Deluxe & A7N8X Deluxe) so im kinda partial to them. i would like to stay with the 939 so i dont have to replace my CPU right now. im leaning more towards PCI express though cause i havent seen anything saying that directx 10 will be available for AGP so i would need a new ATI card as well. unless i am wrong then i will stay with AGP. So what do you guys think i should go with? i play battlefield 2 and Counter strike source alot so i need gaming performance... thanks in advance.....Acoustic  |
instead of emailing ASUS trying calling them on the phone...its 20X faster than emailing, and you will probably get a rma number the same day...if you want a new asus board for 939 get the A8N32-SLI Deluxe:toast:

the normal a8n...you can do sli or crossfire...
|
yeah but the A8N32-SLI Deluxe just looks sexy!!
although it's twice the $$$ |
I would go with this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131530 And this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102021 OR this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102061 That will get you good until DX10 comes out. |
i am thinking the A8N32-SLI Deluxe is the one. although it sux that it only has one ide connection cause i have cd rw dvd rw and one ide hard drive. guess i will just have to get another sata! oh well thanks guys!
