Water change!
 

Wooo, just changed the water in my Swiftech WC setup.

it was turning a nasty brown color. Used to be UV sensitive Green. I think this is the original water i put in when i got the kit, i can't even remember when that was. Definatly more than a year ago.

So i found some new antifreeze in the garage and watered it down 50/50 with distilled water.

Now it's deep blue! looks awsome! I also had a chance to clean all the crap out of my Apogee waterblock. Some weird black slime seems to have grown and got lodged in the copper fins.

The fresh Ceramique hasn't had a chance to settle yet, but temps are already down by 6c!

Ha, and to think I thought W.C. users didn't have any problems once they got everything set up. Air cooling users just have to worry about dust build-up and the occasional loose heatsink. You have to worry about keeping the loop clean, dust build-up on the radiator, leaks, pump failure....all sorts of fun stuff. But if you succeed, you get a very cool and quiet computer at an extreme price :p.

they still need to worry about dust on the rad though

that's the easy bit. I just blow it through with our compressor every couple of months :)

Mostly it's hastle free, but the water does go a horrible color after a while =/

i like air i just reverse our vacuum and blow all the dust out so i don't need to spend $10 a can or air

I like dust filters in your case and air cooling :p.
