PS3 Dual Shock 3 First Look

According to the latest issue of Japan's Dengeki PlayStation magazine, the much loved, long awaited rumble controller is back in black. The Dual Shock 3 will be compatible with Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, set to hit stores in October. However, there hasn't been news of a European release date yet.

I wonder if Sony will bundle the Rumble controllers with the PS3, or if we are all going to have 2 sets of controllers - Rumble and non-Rumble.

So Sony finally fessed up that rumble is still way cool. WE ALL (Or at least I did) knew they were lying when they (Sony) said that they never personally really cared about Rumble lol just keep hitting the walls with those comments SONY and see if you don't eventually start losing marketshare:banghead::banghead:

Lol, very true; and it really goes to show how out of touch they were with their customer base (us). This never should have become the outrage that it did when they announced no more rumble, if they had actually taken the time to see how badly we still wanted it. Oh well, I hope they learn... personally I'd hate to see MS grab any more of this market than they already have..........

M$ with Vista only games and $ony with the non rumbling joypads have both been caught out lying now not that anyone with a bit of knowledge believed either of them to believe with anyway.

lol:laugh::laugh: This really justifies how horribly wrong the PS3 is right now lol and whats more its no longer the cheapest Blu-Ray player either lol: http://www.1up.com/do/blogEntry?bId=...UserId=5380375 KNockout:nutkick::slap::slap: Although thats probably partially why they got a new magazine editor for PSM but ironically Rob Smith was a former editor of OXM though LOL:roll::roll::roll:

PS3 is gaining alot of ground, so bitch all ya want about the controller <G>. They brought it back, personally I didnt miss the rumble one bit at all, it was a nice bonus. They, Sony, didnt care about the rumble, and probably still dont. However, after striking a deal and of course, all the emails, mail and what not from customers, they brought it back. They care about the customer.

There's nothing horribly wrong with the PS3. And it may not be the cheapest BluRay player anymore, but you can't play games on a stand alone BluRay, can you? You also can't run Linux, surf the net, run F@H, or record TV on a standalone BluRay player. For $500, the PS3 is still a hell of a deal if you have an HDTV and want BluRay.

And as far as vs the 360, at least the ps3 doesn't have a 33% failure rate.

You can play games on a high definition player provided its included on the Movie disc which movie companies will sometimes do lol. Won't argue about Linux since so few people use it anyway. All (not most as with Blu-Ray) HD-DVD players can connect to the internet maybe not surf but they can update themselves and get you new content from the net for you to watch if you wish such as actor interviews etc. Oh and remember they are phasing out the $500 PS3 so it wont be long now before the PS3 is only $600 what a deal lol:roll::roll: You cant record tv in the States yet with the PS3 lol. Besides I think I would prefer the 360's IPTV coming out this Fall anyways. And plus that 33% is no longer there remember they added a heatpipe to new and existing 360's so the failure rate from what i have been hearing has been drooping steadily as newer 360s with extra heatpipes trickle in.

Im not trying to totally bash the PS3 Im just saying its too expensive for my tastes.

I don't think this news is worth praising Sony over. They should have included rumble from the beginning. I wish someone would take these controllers to the next level and add force feedback analogue sticks. That would be cool. Prob need a hefty battery tho.
