AGP - HD 3850 experiences

This is the sister thread to http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=25369

Given that there were many stability issues with "early" X1950 AGP boards (which got fixed), I'd like to also capture members' experience of the AGP HD 3850.

Please post your experience as follows:

1./ Stable or Unstable
2./ Brand of AGP - HD 3850
3./ Mainboard model
4./ PSU model and power rating

Thank you for everyone participating!

P.S. Comments on performance of these cards also allowed.

Rules: AGP comments only. AGP HD 3870comments also allowed here.

I'm going to be looking into picking up a Sapphire 3850 if they don't pull the finger out and bnring the 3870 to the plate.

I also have an X1950 Pro so I'll be able to make a decent comparison. SODs law will have it so that I'll buy a 3850 and then someone will release the 3870 in AGP. :shadedshu
