So? Look at Russia. They are the largest country in the world and they only have 4k pledger's. :)

Here we are, the third largest country, with 40,000+. (the most pledgers)

Largest by total square mileage maybe but not population by any means. China has the most people at 1.3 billion. Then India is next at 1.1 billion. United States is 3rd on the list when we drop all the way to 304 million. Russia is #9 on the list 142 million.
