free bump.

Please let the moderators do the moderating, thanks. No, prices aren't required nor will the lack of them result in thread closure. I would like to remind the rest of you that unless you are posting in the thread about these things:

Quote:

Only post in a FS/FT thread if you are...
1) Bumping the thread. (Once every 24 hours for sellers)
2) Interested in the item and asking a question.
3) Negotiating the price of an item you want to buy. (But this should be done through private messages.)
So, unless your post has to do with #1, #2 or #3 DON'T BOTHER POSTING. It's starting to become a problem and will be dealt with using infractions.

These guidelines will be strictly enforced, with infractions resulting for repeat violations.

Ok thanks.

I just used TinyPic and they work fine for me????

Gam'ster Feb 12, 2009 08:43 PM

Irish_PXzyan Feb 12, 2009 08:47 PM

Thanks Gam'ster :p

I got a new Gigabyte Geforce GTX 280 today so I got this one spare now! But I rather just get rid of it to someone who needs something like this :p

kyle2020 Feb 12, 2009 08:48 PM

can i ask - why were the reapers wrong for you?

Irish_PXzyan Feb 12, 2009 08:51 PM

They were wrong for me because I wanted to get my hands on another 2gigs of Crucial BallistiX memory and for some reason I picked out the OCZ....I was not paying attention and I was checking the OCZ Reapers out...then when I got them I was like...WOW what the hell?? SO I went onto komplett.ie and checked what i bought and I did choose the wrong type haha!

kyle2020 Feb 12, 2009 08:52 PM

so they are fine in terms of working? and they are DDR2? how much did you pay, might I ask?

The 280 is a nice card should serve you well, if i didnt have a wedding and ofc the game directly afterwards on Saturday id make an offer on ur gts but its gonna be an expensive day but ill think bout it its very tempting.

Irish_PXzyan Feb 12, 2009 08:56 PM

Ive never actually tested them. I did keep them..I don't really know why but I just wanted to hang on to them.

I spent 70 euro on them 4 months ago and they are DDR2 PC2-6400 HPC Reapers.

Irish_PXzyan Feb 12, 2009 08:57 PM

Offer when ever you want to!!!

kyle2020 Feb 12, 2009 08:58 PM

£10 and a roll of black electrical tape? sorry, just went with what I could see infront of me haha.

Ill let you know on the reapers. :toast:

Irish_PXzyan Feb 12, 2009 09:00 PM

SOLD TO KYLE!!!!!!! HAHAH!!!

I am joking :p

Exavier Feb 12, 2009 09:31 PM

I don't know what people will think is fair, but just FYI as I was looking last week 8800GTX are going for £90-£110 each - just to let you know what range to be looking in as it's a GTS 640.
Edit: Moonpig sold his GTX here on TPU for £70...

Which I might be interested in, as I need an Nvidia card for my F@H/LAN party rig.
I'd like to know what you want for it though as I don't want to offend by mistakenly offering a 'lowball' so LMK :) free bump for some pretty nice goods

Irish_PXzyan Feb 12, 2009 10:01 PM

I don't really know what is a good price for it!!
how much is 70 pounds in euros tho!

What range is a good deal for this card??

kyle2020 Feb 13, 2009 06:43 AM

£1 = 0.98 Euros.

Irish_PXzyan Feb 13, 2009 01:00 PM

Wow what happened to the pound? Thought it was worth more than 2c?

Still no one interested in buying the GTS or the HPC Reapers?? makes offers guys!!

Castiel Feb 13, 2009 02:15 PM

Is the GTS a G92?

Irish_PXzyan Feb 13, 2009 02:16 PM

The GTS is the very first brand of 8800 series GPU's
It's the 8800GTS 640mb and not the later 8800GTS 512mb.

Castiel Feb 13, 2009 02:19 PM

Could you take a GPU-z screeny of it?

Exavier Feb 13, 2009 02:27 PM

it's G80 not G92.
