Hibernate LCD Flashing light
 

Hi,
I have a Gateway laptop. Everynight, I just shut the screen over the keyboard and the laptop goes into hibernate mode. However, this irritating light on the front of my laptop starts flashing a very bright blue into my dark room. I have to put a T-shirt drooping over the front of my laptop so that I dont stay up all night looking at the blue light!

Any ideas how I can disable this blue light from coming on when I lower my laptop's screen?

ps: There is also a steady blue light right next to the flashing blue light. the stead light indicates that the power is plugged in. It turns pink when I unplug the power.

Unfortuantly i think there is no solution to your problem except for opening her up and sniping the LED off.
