[UK] - Toshiba Portege R100 Laptop
 

I've decided to sell my laptop as it's not getting the use I thought I would get out of it.
As described it's a Toshiba Portege R100 laptop.

Main features:
1GHz Ultra Low Power CPU Centrino (Pentium M)
512MB RAM (upgradable to 1.25GB)
40GB Hard drive (ipod style 1.8")
WiFi
Sound
12" Screen
Ultra light (around 1kg, around 1.4kg with extra battery)
Extra battery for 4-6hours
SD and Cardbus slots
External CD-ROM bootable from PCMCIA slot
XP Pro COA (will be wiped clean so you will need to find recovery discs or install own OS)
32MB Graphics (plays HL and CS1.6)
Charger included


I have to say that the screen does have allot of dead/stuck pixels and portions of the screen are faulty but is still useable! Also signs of paint wear on chrome effect around edges and some keys, also tiny crack near plastic around headphone and mic jacks.

Just a note I can install Linux Ubuntu if you wish. Let me know before hand however as I may need bit of extra time to get it installed as it can be bit fiddley.

Talked to my mum, unfortunately the damaged screen has put her off. I tried to persuade her but she was having none of it lol.

Ill give it till the end of the week and if no other interest I will look at putting it on eBay. Currently running Windows 7 on it and it's rather slow with the tiny hard drive and 512MB RAM, cant be bothered to put XP back on it haha! Although once running FireFox runs fine :)
