faster fan better intake??

Hey guys i was wondering whats better to use for cooling..a slow ram with low noise or a faster fan with load of noise for intake?? and slower fan for exhaust? i'm asking this because my core temp is much higher than before now..and i have only installed my new cpu cooler like 2weeks ago, used to be 30*C now its 35*C on web browsing and msn :S

faster fans provide more air and better cooling, up until the point the noise gets to you.

Having slightly more air in than air out causes positive air pressure which helps reduce dust build up in the case.

rear is for exhaust mostly...

hot air rises, so i guess top?

if your CPU fan is facing the rear, then have the rear. you dont want two fans blowing at each other, as theyd cancel each other out.
