On the plus side it's cheap and light, on the negative side, the CPU is on the borderline of mainstream and netbook - dual core, low clock speed, low fsb / low cache. It's still faster than an Atom....

The combination of GDDR5 and 512bit would have been too much for the consumer to bear, cost wise. There's plenty of GDDR3, and with twice the bandwidth no need to clock the memory particularly high....
