unfortunatly the x38/48 boards cant seem to push the 45 nm quads as well as the p45 boards
so 4ghz isnt so easy but you should be able get at least 3.8.

ok as promised here are pics of my mod the idea...

the idea was to make room in my cm690 for a removable
watercooling tray by adding 6 inches behind the motherboard
this allowed room for the hard drives there...
