Okay I have booted with only two RAM sticks...

Okay I have booted with only two RAM sticks installed in A1 and A2 leaving the 2 B slots open, this made no difference in boot time.

Also disconnected the Optical Drive


Any other ideas ?

No I dont see any lights on the drive itself flashing, but I know the HDD light or whatever you want to call, burns solid from the second i type in my pass and press enter to the minute my computer...

So I uninstalled Avast completely using the tool you provided in the link. The performance did increase greatly, afterwards I installed Bitdefender Total Security 2013 :) Using their built in tune-up...
